About the Center

The Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Institute and Dr. Tony Aram’s goal is to achieve the best outcome for you using both traditional and progressive and safe techniques while providing you with utmost care, dignity and respect.  We aim to provide care that enables our patients to return to activities they enjoy and in some instances, such as total joint replacement, improve their quality of life.  AOSMI focuses on using using minimally invasive, computer navigational and robotic assisted techniques to provide patients with the best surgical outcomes with quicker recovery times, shorter hospital stays and overall superior results!

Facilities for the patient

Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Institute offers 7,500 sf of modern facilities located on the first floor of the new medical building adjacent to INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital. The full service facility includes X Ray onsite, paperless electronic medical recording (EMR), a 3000 sf physical therapy center and is directly connected to the hospital with quick and easy access to the MRI and Cat Scan center.  Your surgeries are done in the nationally recognized hospital facilities for joint replacement.

Facilities for research and physician education

Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Institute offers training programs for medical professionals, including orthopedic surgeons and assistants, who wish to expand their knowledge base and use of computer navigational, minimally invasive, and robotic assisted surgery as a tool in the surgery room.  Medical professionals work directly with Dr. Aram in the program.
